I began as a regular young woman with aspirations of marriage and a simple life as a homemaker. However, my marriage took an unexpected turn when I understood the seriousness of my husband's statement: "You must be professionally and financially independent, and I won't let you into the kitchen." With encouragement from my in-laws, I bravely launched Discover Work Space on August 22, 2022, despite having limited knowledge of co-working spaces or managed office concepts.

CLIENT #1: 60000 INR CHEQUE. THE ONE WHERE IT ALL STARTED

On that inaugural day, a glimmer of hope emerged as my first client handed me a cheque for 60,000 INR, signifying their interest in using my co-working space. I believed I had figured out the secret to making quick and easy money.

Regrettably, my initial enthusiasm was replaced by disappointment as the client's check bounced shortly after. They enjoyed my Co-Working Space like it was a never-ending vacation, conveniently forgetting to pay their dues or answer my calls.

CLIENT #2:THE RETURN OF THE CHEQUE. ANOTHER 60,000 INR MASTERPIECE!

After they left, another client arrived at my Co-Working Space, handing me another check for 60,000 INR.. However, my optimism was short-lived as this cheque too was rendered invalid.

This client utilized For four weeks, this client used the Co-Working Space, offering what seemed like valid excuses for not paying. It was getting hard for me to run a managed office space .

CLIENT #ZERO:TESTING TIMES & CONFIDENCE

The challenges I faced initially left me feeling inadequate. I had plenty of time in hand as there were no inquiries for my co-working space my office felt deserted, and I felt I was a failure. But my husband said, “It’s never a failure but an experience (until you give up)"

This period of sparse inquiries for my Co-Working Spaces tested my perseverance, but I remained steadfast, pouring continuous effort into the venture.

CLIENT #HEROS – GREAT PEOPLES AND CONTINUOUS LEARNING

Over time, clients started to come in for my co-working space - remarkable individuals who supported me and my co-working space through the unpredictable journey of Managed Office Spaces. Along this path, I forged meaningful connections and friendships with exceptional individuals.

Despite the ongoing challenges of managing an office space, such as ensuring uninterrupted power and stable Wi-Fi, clients' steadfast support for my coworking space is deeply appreciated.
